The Pup popz story

 I have to confess, I was never really a dog lover, But for many years we had a loyal family dog, Cookie. She was there through all of my boys growing up and many other major life events. Her passing was very hard on us all. At that point I decided NO more dogs !! Life was easier pet free, we could focus on traveling now that we had the time. However, things go rarely as planned. My mother became unable to care for herself and moved in with us. She became my full time job, along with also having a full time career.

More than anything my mom wanted a little dog. I was reluctant at first, as I knew I would be the one caring for the dog. Then one day Bella came into our lives unexpectedly. I should have known never to go look at puppies, of course we ended up coming home with one. Bella had captured our hearts. My mom and Bella became inseparable. They did everything together.

Then my whole world turned upside down, I lost my dear mom and Bella lost her best friend. Bella never left my side and gave me truly unconditional love. After the passing of my mom, I found myself having more time on my hands. 

Bella had always suffered from a sensitive stomach, so I started making her homemade gourmet dog treats. However, I added a twist, placing the treat in a push pop. Bella loved them! I tried the recipes on my grand-dogs, who loved them as well, Pup Pops was then created.
